But with the USBUIRT I could use any remote. The problem would be if vista keeps throwing the errors when using an MCE remote. I imagine not as you could disable the device in device manager and can configure sage to use USBUIRT expressly. I don't know if the existing IR receiver would cause any problems with the USBUIRT or not. Otherwise, I have another USBUIRT that I got for some home automation stuff, I could use it for IR and keep the LCD at least. I'll need to find a copy of Girder though.

#SOUNDGRAPH IMON IR LCD DRIVER#
I have to cycle the switch on the power supply to get it to wake up correctly.Īs far as the IR, I am going to try this MCE Remote Replacement Driver () for Vista and see if it works. It works fine however, the LCD itself is flakey when you shut down the computer. I got my VFD or rather LCD to work with Sage via the External Status Monitor () and SageMCEDisplay () plugin. meantime I am going to try and remap the MCE controller using the IMON manager downloaded from the SoundGraph site to see if I can use that.īTW Kricker If you want to buy the VFD/IR that is in the fusion box you could probably get it direct from Soundgraph and fit it yourself. If any of you guys figure it out let me know. can't find anything in the manual, the setup, or the registry. I also haven't been able to figure out how the VFD.exe program supplied by Antec maps the. Like Humanzee it works for some of the buttons but not the rest.
#SOUNDGRAPH IMON IR LCD HOW TO#
I haven't yet been able to figure out how to make the MCE controller control SageTV direct. imo file named XPMediaCenter.imo, but this seems to be specifically to make the MCE controller compatible with MCE2005 and not SageTV. The IMON VFD software supplied by Antec seems to be different to the standard IMON Manager. It is the OEM model of the standard IMON VFD and IR Receiver (with volume knob).
#SOUNDGRAPH IMON IR LCD MODS#
I could just put some tape over the Fusion supplied IR receiver and do some case mods to incorporate my Microsoft MCE IR receiver, which works just fine, but I am trying real hard to get it to work using the Antec supplied IR receiver first.įirstly, the Antec receiver is supplied by SoundGraph. I want to use an MCE controller, using the IR receiver that comes with the case. I have an Antec Fusion V2 (the silver case) and I have the same issues. I imagine it would go in place of or in parallel with the power button jumpers but the didn't say how or where to hook it up. but they said it is a way to wake or start the motherboard with a remote control. I figured it was to supply some power to the LCD or IR. I still need to find a better place to put the case.Īntec has been sort of responsive, there is an extra set of wires in the case. A shutdown cooldown and reboot solved the problem.

Turns out there wasn't enough space around the case in my TV stand to let air in to cool it. It was showing all sorts of garbage on the screen. The buttons like guide and tv throw an error in Vista, I have disabled MCE so I think its confused, Ill have to read more about configuring it the way I like.įunny you should mention about the display, mine wigged out the other day and its got me nervous. I didn't find that on the website, but yes, I borrowed an MCE remote from a friend today and it seems to work.
